Charming and romantic Hotel in Bruges

The owners of the hotel,very much in love with antiques and objects of art, wanted to share this passion with their guests while creating an interior full of charm and character expressing a timeless, elegant, nice and comfortable atmosphere.

Asiatiska detaljer

Idag har jag letat efter asiatisk inredning och lite spännande detaljer på det temat. Hittade den här härliga inspirationsbilden hos Baazar. Kul att se att stilen går att få in en modern miljö och att det dessutom inte behöver vara just rött och svart som man oftast ser utan blir riktigt snyggt med grönt.

Today I've been looking for some Asian details for a project at work. I found this inspiration image at the swedish webshop Baazar. I think its nice to so another color than the usual red and black. It looks really great with green instead.

Tillbaka igen efter en riktigt lång semester

Hoppas ni haft en härlig sommar allihop. Själv är jag nu tillbaka igen efter semestern och... jag har börjat mitt nya jobb. Så här ser det ut på Doris. Har varit där andra dagen idag och det blev lite stressigt. Metro Bostad kommer ju ut en gång i veckan så det gäller att ligga i om det ska bli någon tidning. Cool vägg, eller hur - det är vanliga A4 blad i olika färger som är uppsatta i ett mönster så allt ser så där pixligt ut. Till vänster på bild sitter Stina som är vd på Doris men också skriver bloggen too much inspiration.

I hope you have had a great summer, everyone. Now I'm back again after a really long vacation. Yesterday I also started my new job. This is how it looks. Take a look at the cool wall, its only papers for copying machines in different colors that is put up in a pixel like pattern.

Blog anniversary & our summer holidays so far

Although I was planning to slow down blogging a little these days, I wanted to announce my 2nd blog anniversary today! I can’t believe I am blogging since 2009, July the 31st !!

And I want to thank all of my readers, followers and blog colleagues, for supporting me to go on with my blog and for all the nice comments on my posts!

Without all of you there would be no BELGIAN PEARLS blog at all !

So thank you so much!!  I hope to bring you more of inspiring blogposts in future!

As you know already we enjoy our summer holidays these days and I promised myself to spend not that much time on my computer because I really need to relax and to have some quality time with my family. We are not traveling, we hope to enjoy spending some time in our garden and inviting friends and family.

But today I wanted to post some pictures of the things that kept us busy during this first week of our holidays.

Jan’s daughter Nele, her husband Tom and the children Alexa and Tristan joined us for a couple of days. We were looking forward to their visit!

The weather wasn’t that nice the passed days, but fortunately it wasn’t raining so Tristan and Alexa were able to cycle !

 

 

In the afternoon we went to my mum’s house, where there is a swing in the garden.

So Jan had to push his grandchild of course.

 

Anthony tried to teach his godchild Alexa how to use the scooter.

 

Aren't they just cute ?!

 

The other day we went for a walk in our neighbourhood and had lunch in an idyllic situated restaurant 'De Zwalmmolen’.

 

 

In the afternoon we all went to the manege ‘De Paardebloem’ where Nele and me wanted to practice horse riding.
