Ljuva 70-tal

Den här lägenheten i Köpenhamn ger mig ljuvliga flashbacks till 70-talet. Titta bara på glasknopparna i hallen på den bruna panelen, 70-talet i ett nötskal. Även soffan byggd av madrasser och naturligtvis de vackra kuddarna. Hade det här verkligen varit på 70-talet hade nog även köket varit brunt. Bilder från Anna Lilja.

Hei alle sammen! Endelig litt nett..Er i Oslo på hotel med mamma og flere jenter. Vi var på "Frustrerte fyrer" i går, og ja bare koset meg i helga. Herlig! Her er noen bilder fra rommet til lille Noah. Det er ikke ferdig enda, skal tapetsere den ene veggen,(der hvor de som bodde i huset før oss har malt en borg) men har enda ikke bestemt meg for hva slags tapet jeg skal ha. Men tror det blir blå og hvit stripete.

Ønsker alle en herlig søndag... Er det ikke deilig at vi har stilt klokken? :)

Eldigt och intressant

Det här hemmet såg jag för flera år sedan i någon av de svenska inredningsmagasinen. Kan inte minnas vilket, men bilden av den runda soffan har satt sig i minnet. Det är en inredning som håller än. Den är skarp och lyxigt avskalad men utan att för den skull vara tråkig som man så ofta ser, snarare är den eldig och intressant med sina orange toner. Lägg märke till hur snyggt det blir med ett mörkt golv i en så pass ljus lägenhet och hur häftigt det blir när man utgår från en tavla i färgsättningen. Bilder från fotograf Patric Johansson.

I’m a bit frenzied in this post, because there there are a couple things I want to tell you about and they aren’t all design related.

I’m a huge Amazon fan.  It makes my life so much easier for gift-giving.  Since my family is spread out all across the United States, I’ve often written up my gift list and Amazon usually can cover everything on it.  Plus, whenever I know about a new design book on the market, I can go to Amazon to check it out (and usually get the best price for it!).

Well, now they have a contest going on called Amazon’s 10th Anniversary Wishlist Sweepstakes and the prizes are incredible.  Ranging from new home electronics (55” HDTV) to a new dream kitchen with all new appliances.

I’m a bit late in posting this, but my daughter and I made the BEST Mango Salsa this summer for a school project she had.  The site is called Great Salsa and it’s loaded with yummy recipes!

Melbourne, anyone?

Det här huset hittade jag via bloggen Desire to Inspire. Det är ett gammalt renoverat Victorianskt hus i närheten av Melboure i Australien. Huset är renoverat av ägaren som är arkitekt och enl försäljningsinfon andas huset europeisk 'grandeur'. Vilket man kan hålla med om, men det som jag tycker är speciellt med den här är att det är så många olika inredningsstilar, gammalt, nytt, natur, retro, 70-tal, 60-tal... ändå har man på något sätt lyckats få ihop helheten.
